It seems wrong to claim week 1 after just a day of 2022 has passed. But I did check and this has to be week 1 to get 52 weeks of posts. But there are the last 6 days of 2020 in this week too. I was on vacation this last week, so my stitching time was vastly improved the last few days of 2020.

- 15 minute days/week December = 11/31 days
- 15 minute days/2021 = 271/365

This is the 7th year that I've played along with Cheryl of Meadow Mist Designs Best of series. It's fun to look back at some of the high points posted on the blog this last year.
1. Most Views (400): Stitching Time: Week 2 of 2021
I'm not sure why this one had so many views, though it's one of my favorite posts from this last year. The Scientist in Training took a few stitches on my traveling cross stitch project while we were visiting family last Christmas. From that she decided to give embroidery a ...

It's week 52 of 2021, so this will be the last stitching stuff post for the year. I like to close out my stitching year on December 31st, so I'll have the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 in next week's post. My stitching week didn't go so well. I spent all of last weekend working on company ...

Life is good when you can take Friday off and you have the house to yourself. It meant a full day of stitching to kick off the weekend. I was definitely ready for a day off after the madness that has been work the last couple of weeks. I was doing so well till we were late getting home one night (4:30 PM phone calls with the West Coast tend to not end at 5 PM CT).
- 15 minute days/week = 6/7 days
- 15 minute days/Apr = 14/17 days
- 15 minute days/2021 = 101/107 days
It was back to work for me this last week. You'd think after being so well rested after 2 weeks off going back to work would have been easy. It wasn't. It really felt like going from 0 to 60 mph in a couple of seconds. I wasn't ready for that. How did your first full week of 2021 go in your sewing space?
I didn't get the best start to a new year of finding time to stitch.

The Thanksgiving holiday was a quiet one for us. The Scientist in training got to come home for the first time in months. We all had the week off. So we got to spend some time just hanging out. Naps were a popular past time with the college girl and I got to spend a lot of time up in the sewing room. Thanksgiving dinner was a very small affair, but the food was good and we had fun.
Having five days off was nice, there was time to get caught up on a bit of housework, get the Christmas ...

I'd name names, but I'm sure I'd leave someone out. I don't belong to the local guild as they only meet during the week and this working girl isn't able to attend. But I've been so fortunate to have what I've come to think of as my on line guild. There are weekly show and tells, demolish your UFO programs, work down ...
read moreWow, week 51! Just one more week left in 2019 and a full week it will be with Christmas in the middle of it. I'm hoping it's a better week than this one has been. I've been out of commission since Wednesday with a very nasty cold. I finally started to feel better yesterday morning, which is good. That with the holiday prep, edged in on my stitching time. How did you do this week at finding some time to stitch?
In spite of the cold and holiday preparations, I did manage to get in my 15 ... read more
